There were five of us on the boat, and we booked the 6-hour afternoon trip from noon to 6 PM. My husband and brother have always dreamed of catching Tarpon, so this was a true bucket-list experience—and we went 4 for 4! Captain Luis was an excellent guide. He’s a bit on the quiet side, but his focus and knowledge paid off because we caught fish. Toward the end of our trip, we noticed a pelican nearby with a hook stuck in him. With quick thinking, Captain Luis lured the bird in with a sardine, and with my help, he was able to remove the hook. Since the bird was injured, he immediately called rescue for additional care. Hands down, 10/10—highly recommend this trip!

My family had the best time fishing with Captain Luis! My sons loved him and they caught lots of fish. Captain Luis was nice, fun, and knowledgeable! We will definitely use him again. Highly recommend!

Took my 14-year-old son on a fishing trip yesterday, and it was nothing short of incredible! We landed 10 Tarpon, including a massive 60-pounder—a true monster. Watching my son reel that one in was a memory I’ll never forget. Our guide, Luis, was outstanding from start to finish. His patience, energy, and expertise made the trip smooth, fun, and engaging. He knew exactly where to go and made sure my son felt confident and involved every step of the way. We shared plenty of laughs, high-fives, and unforgettable moments. This trip was easily the highlight of our vacation, and we’ll be talking about it for years. Highly recommend Captain Luis if you want an amazing fishing experience!

We have gone fishing with captain Luis multiple times in the last 3 years. It is always so much fun. He is encouraging and patient with the less experienced. It is always a great time.

Captain Luis had a battle with some bad food and couldn’t fish, so I thought our day was over before it even started. Nope! He had Captain Luke step in to run the boat, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Captain Luke reminded me so much of Luis—dedicated, professional, and determined to make sure we caught fish and had an unforgettable time. He did everything possible to give us the best chance, and then it happened: bam! An 80-pounder smashed the line, the drag was screaming, and my 13-year-old was hooked into the fish of a lifetime. We watched that giant leap 8 feet out of the water right next to the boat, and my son fought it for 15 unforgettable minutes. It’s a memory we’ll share forever. These guys are absolute class acts who truly know their stuff. Thank you, Captain Luke and Captain Luis—you’re awesome, and we can’t wait to fish with you again someday!

We booked a half-day morning charter, and everything was top-notch. The Shimano gear was in excellent condition, and the boat was clean and well cared for. We hooked and fought a beautiful Tarpon right to the boat, had two more chances we just missed, and even saw another boat nearby hook up—it’s clear the fish are here! Beyond the fishing, the scenery and views alone made the trip worth it. Captain Luis was fantastic—great personality, hardworking, knowledgeable, and committed to giving us a quality experience on the water. We visit family here every year, and I’ll definitely be booking with Luis again.

This trip was a bucket list adventure for catching Tarpon, and Captain Luis knows exactly where to find them! Despite having no luck at four spots and time running out, he had one more place to try. With just 30 minutes left, the drag started screaming and a monster Tarpon leaped out of the water. It was the fight of a lifetime! I definitely recommend him!

I wanted to give my teenage kids a new experience without too much hassle, and Fishingbooker along with Capt. Luis made it incredibly easy. I initially booked a night fishing trip, but Capt. Luis recommended an afternoon trip due to better tides, and we went with his advice. It was hot in July, but Capt. Luis’ boat had just enough shade to keep us comfortable. He provided an ice chest full of water, soda, and Powerade, set up all the poles, and gave us a quick tutorial. During our four-hour trip, we had five bites, three hooked, and landed two big tarpon. All three of my kids got to fight these epic sport fish, making it a perfect experience. Highly recommend!
